SELLER ADVISORY

Given the numerous decisions and matters to consider when selling or buying a property, Sellers are encouraged to inform themselves regarding real property transactions. To assist with this information a “Sellers Advisory” is available at https://dev.dol.wa.gov/business/realestate/docs/consumerAdvisory.pdf

or my agent has provided me with a copy of the advisory.

SMOKE & CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTORS/ALARMS

Under Washington Law (WAC 51-51-0314) dwellings may not be sold or transferred without the required smoke alarms installed and shall comply with NFPA 72 guidelines. Check with a qualified inspector or contractor. Under Washington Law (RCW 19.27.530) carbon monoxide alarms are required in all residential dwellings regardless of the presence of a carbon monoxide source.
